Chronic Pain After Spinal Cord Injury

Chronic pain is a frequent and frustrating consequence of spinal cord injury (SCI). It can impact the quality of an individual’s daily life and their ability to perform their job as usual. It is important that a person understands their pain so they can learn to manage it to have a full and active life.

Speaker: Dr. Judith Hunter, BSc (PT), MSc, PhD is a CPA Ontario Research Fellow at Lyndhurst where her current focus of research is on SCI related pain. She is an Associate Professor in the Dept. of Physical Therapy at U of T, a physical therapist, Associate Scientific Staff at Mount Sinai Hospital, Wasser Pain Management Centre and a founding member of the U of T Centre for the Study of Pain.
