Ability Society

The Ability Society of Alberta (ASA) provides quality asset-based services for persons of all ages that are vulnerable or have special needs in the areas of assistive technology, early childhood development, employment, housing, education, seniors issues, community inclusion, community development and independent living both within Canada and internationally.


Alberta Disabilities Forum

Alberta Disabilities Forum aims to influence policies and services for people with disabilities, educate the public about cross-disability issues and provide information and networking opportunities to its members.


BC Coalition of People with Disabilities

The BC Coalition of People with Disabilities is a provincial, cross-disability advocacy organization.


Canadian Disabled Individuals Association

The Canadian Disabled Individuals Association (CDIA) was founded on behalf of all disability with the intent to create an inclusive, grass roots organization founded and driven by disabled individuals which is free from obligation and bias as a result of politics or specific interests.


Canadian Injured Workers Alliance (CIWA)

The Canadian Injured Workers Alliance is a national network of injured workers groups that aims to support and strengthen the work of local, provincial, and territorial injured workers groups by providing a forum for exchanging information and sharing experiences.


Canadian Paraplegic Association (British Columbia)

CPA BC helps individuals with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities achieve independence, self-reliance and full community participation.


Canadian Paraplegic Association (National)

Similar in nature with CPA Ontario, the CPA National has offices across Canada to provide services (employment, information seminar, peer support etc. ) to people with SCI.

An informative and up-to-date site with spinal cord injury-related information and forums, with a particular emphasis on cure research
