Alberta Disabilities Forum
Alberta Disabilities Forum (ADF) formed as a coalition of 41 not-for-profit provincial disability organizations, whose members speak with a unified voice on cross-disability issues of concern for Albertans with disabilities.
Through its work, ADF:
- influences policies and services for people with disabilities by creating public strategies, working with and building partnerships with government and other stakeholders, and supporting people with disabilities to have a voice.
- educates the public about cross-disability issues by providing information and resources, developing information packages on disability issues, involvement in political elections and promoting the International Day of Disabled Persons.
- provides a broad range of education, information, and networking opportunities to ADF member organizations and others.
