Access by General - Woodworking Machinery for People in Wheelchairs or for Individuals with Limited Mobility
Some time ago, someone asked them, “Why doesn’t anyone make woodworking machinery for people in wheelchairs or for individuals with limited mobility?”
Access by General answered with a question of their own, “Hmm, why don’t we?”
Introducing “Access by General” – making the workshop accessible to everyone.
Made primarily in the Drummondville, Quebec, Canada plant, Access by General offers you the high end “Access by General” line which includes a selection of the most commonly used machines found in a typical woodworking shop, such as: table saw, jointer, bandsaw, drill press and lathe.
Access by General is designed and adapted for the wheelchair users, the seated operator or for individuals of smaller stature, where traditional sized machinery can be cumbersome, awkward or downright dangerous. Over the years, Access by General has marveled at the determination and inventiveness of many strong willed individuals who face these challenges every day and manage to adapt to and overcome the obstacles they face when working with traditional sized machinery. Their passion for woodworking is their motivation and this is a passion that Access by General fully understands.
For those who share this passion with Access by General but have been held back by either the daily challenges you face or the obstacles presented by traditional machinery, you are offered: “Access by General”.
