News from the Windsor Area

Dr. Nathania Liem graduated from the University of Ottawa in 1998 specializes in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is the Medical Director of Rehabilitation at Windsor Regional Hospital – Western Campus. Dr. Liem is well aware of the many barriers those persons in wheelchairs face in our community. She is a strong advocate for all persons with physical disabilities. Dr. Liem’s clinic is situated at Windsor Western Hospital, Western Campus and is completely accessible.

Recently Dr. Liem identified the need for woman to have accessible examining rooms, including, high-low beds and equipment required for gynecological exams. Dr. Liem’s clinic has the necessary equipment needed to accommodate transfers from wheelchair to bed.

Dr. Liem consulted with Dr. Elise Milrod CFFP with a special interest in women’s issues. Dr. Milrod and Dr. Liem work closely together, with Dr. Liem referring to Dr. Milrod.
