CPA Ontario is Imagine Canada’s Newest Member

In our commitment to implementing best fundraising practices to our donors, Imagine Canada’s Ethical Code Program has recently accepted CPA Ontario. The program is designed to help maintain and build public trust in the sector.

When you see the logo above, this is our assurance to you as a donor, that we value your contribution and will steward your donation(s) to ensure they have the greatest impact.

Imagine Canada’s Ethical Code Program sets out standards on donor relations, fundraising practices and financial reporting for charitable organizations in order to help charities fulfill their mission.

CPA Ontario has joined the on-going movement of over 300 Canadian charities (members include The Canadian Cancer Society, The Heart and Stroke Foundation and, Ontario March of Dimes to name a few) committed to ethical fundraising and financial accountability. 

CPA Ontario will now also have a baseline against which we can evaluate our fundraising practices. We will use the Ethical Code ‘trustmark’ or logo that signals to our donors that we comply with the Code.
