HST starts in July

I have been asked recently about the GST rebate for people with disabilities, in particular, around the purchase of a vehicle and modifications. In the current system if the dealer and / or supplier charges you GST you can fill out a form to send into the government for a rebate of the GST you paid within the last four years. Under the new Harmonized Sales Tax this will still apply. For a list of other exemptions for the HST here is the Canada Revenue website link
