The Event 
The Barrie Wheelchair Relay Challenge is more than just a race. It’s a “Wheel Challenge” for both people with and without disabilities. It’s an opportunity for you and your team to gain a better understanding of wheelchair use, while raising much needed awareness and funds for those with spinal cord injuries in your community. Participating in the relay provides a sense of team spirit while supporting a great cause.

Your Team
CPA Ontario invites you to gather a team of five co-workers, friends and/or family willing to wheel in a wheelchair in the South Simcoe Wheelchair Relay Challenge event! Each team will be provided with a wheelchair in which team members will wheel a around the track and perform tasks along the way. Prizes are awarded for speed, team spirit and highest pledges raised.

Fast Fact:

There are 350 - 400 new spinal cord injuries every year in Ontario (approximately one every day) and current estimates indicate that there are approximately 12,000 Ontarians living with spinal cord injury.
