NEW!! Advocacy Blog..Let your voice be heard
This is such an exciting time for me. CPA Ontario will now be posting Advocacy issues here for you to voice your opinion. I want to hear what you have to say, whether you agree with my comments or not, let me know. At least once a month on the message board I will post an issue around things that need to be changed to allow people with disabilities to live, work and play independently. This is the opportunity you have been waiting for, please comment away or if you have something you want to talk about feel free to post a new issue on the board.
Also, I am going to start blogging, starting October 13th, right after Thanksgiving I will start entering a daily diary on what I am working on, what advocacy issues are the focus of my day. Please join me and post on your blog here, tell me what you are advocating for or what you would like to see.
I will be checking daily and replying to all, so let your typing begin!

Greyhound Services In Northern Ontario
Just wondering how the potential loss of Greyhound bus service in Northern Ontario will affect those with physical disabilites living in the North, especially as it relates to travel for medical purposes. Many people must travel outside of their home area in the North to recieve specialized treatment, as we do not have a sufficient complement of family physicians let alone specialists.
I would love to hear from others how the loss of Greyhound will affect your life in the North.
