Ready, Willing & Able (RWA) is an outreach program provided by Paralympics Ontario to persons with a physical disability. It is aimed at increasing the number of individuals with disabilities that are physically active in sport and recreation. 


Making a difference by riding the distance…. Spine Ride

The Canadian Paraplegic Association is pleased to announce a partnership with CycleSpine and their Spine Ride Canada Tour.  CycleSpine is a volunteer association that was formed in 2007 by two men who had a dream.  “Spinal Cord injury is a disastrous condition that can completely consume a person’s life.  To recognize the special needs of individuals who have spinal cord disabilities, we combined our passion for cycling with this need to create Spine Ride Canada”, says Dr Alessandrini cardiologist at the Oshawa hospital and the main organizer of the tour.
